01 Who we are

FlipR is operated by WCX Solutions ("FlipR", "we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected]. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

02 What we collect

Waitlist & marketing site

• Email address — required, so we can contact you about beta access.
• Name — optional.
• The page you signed up from (referrer URL).
• Your browser's user-agent string.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used only for abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP.
• Date and time of signup.

Purchase & licensing

• Email address — your account identity and where your licence key is delivered.
• Purchase metadata — plan, order reference, licence key, expiry and device-binding state.
• Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

03 Why we collect it

To operate a private beta waitlist and to provide the FlipR service you purchase. Our legal bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for licensing and delivery; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in running the waitlist and preventing abuse; and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) given at signup, which you may withdraw at any time.

04 How long we keep it

Waitlist details are kept until the beta concludes or you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. Hashed IPs are pruned after 90 days. Purchase and licensing records are retained for as long as required to support your licence and to meet UK tax and accounting obligations (typically six years).

05 Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with trusted processors who act on our instructions:

• Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention.
• Our email provider (Postmark or SendGrid, both GDPR-compliant) — to send licence keys and beta-access communications.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

06 Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can unsubscribe via the link in any email we send. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

07 Cookies

Our marketing site does not set tracking cookies. The checkout uses your browser's session storage only to pre-fill your email on the confirmation page. The admin dashboard sets session and CSRF cookies strictly for authentication.
